Australian Animals Wooden Memory Game

is a 24 tile set presented in a sturdy wooden box with sliding lid. This wooden game comes with 24 pieces with a total of 12 Australian animals printed on separate wooden tiles. There are two of each animal so you can try to match them up. The animals are

The rules for this game are very simple. You place all the wooden tiles face down on the table and mix them up. Each person then takes turns to turn over 2 tiles. The aim is to try and match 2 animals. If the person successfully matches two animals the tiles are removed from the game and the player who matched them gets 2 points. If the player is unsuccessful the 2 tiles are turned back over. The trick is to watch and remember where each of the animals are so when it is your turn you can make a match. With very small children you can first of all play with all the animals turned up so they just have to make a match and then with maybe half of the tiles turned up.
