beater (to press your weaving into nice straight lines.)

A wonderful hobby and a great quiet time toy. The image shown is some weaving my daughter completed when she was very young using the weaving loom. It was quite easy to do once she got the hang of it. Later at school they used the weaving frame and wove leaves and sticks into the wool. A really fun little toy and a great start to a wonderful hobby.
